"The Metal Mario Cap" Tao Joystick Cap

This is a new cap which is the heaviest joystick cap known to the N64 community weighing in at about 3.2g (with the screw).  (Tao grippy caps + screw are the lightest at about 0.9g)

It has less grip than a Tao Gravatos cap, but more grip than a Tao Smash cap.  In grip, I would say it is close to the grip of a Gravatos cap, especially on the edges of the cap.  The top has a smoother metallic feel, but the grooves add a good amount of grip there as well.

This cap is made of 90/10 lead-free bronze, and is very corrosion resistant.  It is designed to be hollow inside to reduce the weight, although it is still the heaviest cap.  I find that it has the tendency to make movements of the joystick feel more refined and controlled.  It has a tendency to slightly slow the speed of movement of the joystick and feels very interesting.

This cap is good for games that require aiming (like Goldeneye) and precise movements.  It is good for people who prefer a heavier feel to the top of the joystick.  It is also good for people who do not habitually release the stick to spring back to center, but rather keep the thumb on top of the stick to guide the stick around in a more controlled manner.

In my own experience the weight of the stick (which is only 2g heavier than the lightest known cap in the community) does change the feel of the joystick in an interesting way that could be beneficial for certain games.

The cap will appear gold, but will tarnish over time.  You can easily polish it every once in a while if you want or leave it tarnished for a more weathered look.  You can also polish only the high points for an interesting highlighting effect.  There is one copper cap included in this drop and is a prototype.  Copper will tarnish much faster than bronze.
