This is a feather light joystick made with anodized aircraft grade aluminum. It has been anodized with a coating which is harder than rubies and very scratch resistant. The nib is very long and should last a very very long time!
This first run of joysticks being sold as prototypes. A prototype is not a finished product. All feedback and constructive criticism is welcome, however, all sales will be final for this particular small run. If there is something grossly wrong, we will do our best to make this right somehow, but returns will not be accepted for this prototype run. We need the money from the prototype run to get a larger run going. I hope you understand.
That being said, these feel really good and function as intended within a few of the scenarios we tested, but we only have so much time to test and can't test every scenario.
This prototype run is the only run of slim stick which will be using the 10mm long 3/32" 100% teflon nib. This 10mm long nib can be continuously lowered as it wears. I've never worn the short 2.5mm v3 nibs out, so I have a hard time imagining that someone will be able to wear one out which is this long!
Successive runs of this stick will have a short injection molded nib made of delrin/teflon which is similar to the current nib for the steel v3 Tao joystick.

This cap is made of very tough carbon fiber impregnated nylon. It is very lightweight, it is very grippy, and it is very durable. It grips better than just about any other smooth-textured caps out in the wild. This cap is designed to fit any stick that uses M3 internal threading (all known metal sticks but not ReTech).
It has a T10 torx bolt made of stainless steel, which is exactly the same bolt that Linus at SteelSticks64 used. This cap is compatible with any stick which is compatible with Linus's SteelSticks64 caps.

This cap will fit any stick that has M3 internal threads. Basically, if your stick can accept a SteelSticks64 cap, then this cap will work in your stick.
